    Description

1902 Letter Signed by the Russian Ambassador to the United States. This Includes a photograph of the Enamel Cup (which I do not own). Both were given to my Great Grand father, William Griscom Cox. Perhaps when he delivered a ship to Russia from William Cramp and Sons (Varyag, 1901).  I can remove the frame (for cheaper shipping) if you would like, the shipping estimate is based on this option.

The Signature appears to be “Cassini”.  Arturo Pavlovich Nicholas Cassini was the Ambassador in 1902.
