    Description

    This H&B Champion No. 8  Louisville Slugger baseball bat appears to date to the 1910 to 1920 time period. It is 35" long and has super strong burned-in markings.  Very nice color and patina.  It does have some minor checking, numerous dents and dings from use and a small piece off the knob. There is a crack on the back side of the handle that does not show from the front when displayed.  A very heavy substantial bat that was most likely a decal bat when it was new, as there are no barrel markings.  Nice 100 year old display bat.  Inquiries welcome.
