The item for sale is a circa 1951-53 Hillerich and Bradsby Carl Furillo Louisville Slugger model H4 game used baseball bat. The bat comes with a full PSA/DNA LOA for the game use. The description by John Taube states the bat is uncracked and shows outstanding game use with ball marks and some grain swelling from repeated ball contact . The letter also states that in the opinion of PSA/DNA the bat likely has some post player usage.
Carl Furillo bats are extremely tough and this one dates to the period of time that could have been used during the 1953 season when he won the National League batting  championship with a .344 average.
Furillo was a popular player with the Brooklyn fans of this era and was an underrated player for sure.
