Thank you for checking out my car. What I have here is a classic and desirable car that has been tastefully upgraded to make it drive like a newer car while not loosing the nostalgia and class of the classic. Everything done on this car was done with extreme attention to detail, but not just for show, this car was set up to be driven and enjoyed. While most people start with the "sexy" stuff such as body and paint, chrome, and showy stuff, I started from the bottom and redid the suspension, brakes, driveline, interior, glass, weather strip, and wheels/tires. This car is not perfect and will not win best of show at your local car show, but i guarantee that you will love driving it and it will cause traffic jams as people stop to look at it as you drive by. I have never stopped at a gas station where it did not draw a croud. It has a clean title, I have the pink slip in hand, and I have a book with all receipts and notes that go with the car.As far as the restoration parts, I replaced all glass with modern safety glass, all interior surfaces (the correct front seat, with new seat covers, headliner, and door panels), all weather stripping, and the entire wiring harness and all lighting. The entire windshield wiper system is rebuilt/replaced.As for the “mod” part of restomod, the driveline includes a 350 that is bored .030 with a polished crank and Edelbrock e-street top end including aluminum heads, matching cam, and an aluminum intake manifold, along with a new edelbrock 650cfm carb. It was dressed up like the 283 that originally came in the car. The transmission is a th350 that is upgraded to handle 425 hp. The driveshaft has been converted to a slip shaft which means it will not destroy the bearings, has a billet/poly bearings mount, all new u-joints and is balanced. The suspension includes Ridetech coil springs setup with drop spindles and sway bars. I also installed all tubular a-arms front and back. Front brakes are Wilwood 6-piston calipers with oversized rotors (the most expensive kit for this car). The exhaust is custom built flowmaster 40 series, letting out just in front of the rear wheels. The car also has an aluminum 4 core radiator and a 280 amp alternator. The wheels were custom built for this car and are staggered 19” Intro Retro. Tires are Bridgestone Potenza 235/35R19 in front and 285/35R19 in back.
If someone wanted to turn this into a top show car it would not be hard, but i recommend to leave it as is and just enjoy it. Once you get that k paint job you will not enjoy driving it anymore as you will be paranoid about any damage.
Please contact me for a private viewing or with any specific questions. I have millions of pictures as most of the work was done by me and I can give as much detail about the car as you can handle listening to.
