    Description

1959 Chevrolet Impala. I will list this car to the best of my abilities pardon me if I forget something, this impala was restored in the late late 90s, I Purchased a vehicle from a quadriplegic who installed the handicap controllers I already removed them they welded two small brackets under the column that are hardly noticeable and they made a hole about 1/2” on the floor to add the extra brake pedal which has already been removed. Anyways the car was owned by this gentleman for almost 15 years he bought it from the guy who restored it. The guy told me in the almost 15 years he owned the car and maybe drove it about 500 miles The most part it’s sad inside the garage,
Items that the previous owner added to the car or as followed
Power Disc brakes up front with rear drums
aftermarket power steering was needed since they added a power booster for the brakes
Continental kit from what I’ve been told it’s an original continental kit
Transmission was rebuilt in 2013 shifts nice
items I did within the last four months
    Rebuilt carburetor
Replaced the heads since one of the stock ones was cracked at a camel hump heads
Basically top end has been rebuilt
    Serviced car tune up
Rebuilt distributor electronic ignition to remove points
Changed out one of the power steering lines
    Rebuilt the stock generator
    new dome light lenses
    Chrome Grill guard
I just had the paint correction done this week was  ceramic coated cost 00
Complete new exhaust with stainless steel porter mufflers
Just paid the new tags (california plates)
The car has a clean California title under my name everything is up-to-date
It stops good drives good and smooth
All the windows rolled up and down headlights taillights work license plate light works
Original frost blue poly  910A car
    Trim 841 blue interior
Original 283 v8 car with automatic transmission
Now for what needs to be fixed
The speedometer and odometer do not work I was told by the previous owner that right after he rebuilt the transmission he was having issues with the speedometer and odometer which leads me to believe the gauges should work it’s probably the piece that’s connected to the cable it was never a big deal to me so I never got around to fix it
The clock and the fuel gauge do not work either again I never got around to fix that I have too many projects
I’ve driven the car about 700 miles since I’ve owned it in the year it’s been in my name
Just like all  old cars this one leaks a lil bit of oil. I believe it might be from the timing chain cover but I’m not sure
And the rear end differential leaks a tiny bit of oil also don’t worry it’s got oil
Radio needs attention. I hear it turn on but can’t hear any stations.
The car does have a few small paint chips that were touched up
I’m only allowed to put 24  pictures
Car does have radials white wall tires
I have the plastic plugs that go on the trunk and a brand new trunk mat I have not installed yet it will come with the car
But I’m sure I can send  more pictures if you are interested
