    Description

Do to a none paying high bidder I'm putting my 62 Impala back on the block. It has been gone through from end to end. It's a very solid southern car built as a driver not a trailer queen. The body was disassembled and media stripped (not sand blasted) then coated with etching primer and primed with epoxy primer. While disassembled the base coat clear coat was applied and the paint is gorgeous. Body mounts have been replaced. Brake system has been gone through with new shoes, lines, master cylinder, hoses, wheel cylinders etc. Fuel system has new tank, sending unit, pump and fuel lines. Under the hood is a completely rebuilt 350 small block with correct turn out hedman headers with flow masters for exhaust.  Clutch and pressure plate are new and hooked to the factory three speed. All U joints and the carrier bearing are new. Rear housing totally redone with nylon bushings, bearings, adjustable panhard bar, air shocks and the 3:08 P code posi is new. All lights function correctly. Windows all roll up and down correctly. Rubber seals have been replaced even the front and back glass rubber. The wheels are 15 inch rally's and a set of 14 inch SS caps will be in the trunk along with extra parts and disc brake calipers for a future swap. New molded black carpet and black headliner are installed and look good. The seats and door panels have not been covered yet and unfortunately I'm not going to be able to finish them. The seats are in it but do need recovered. The covers and panels are available through several venders for about 00 give or take. I wouldn't be a afraid to drive it anywhere but it is 60 years old so I'm selling it as is where is. A 0 none refundable deposit is due at close of auction and the balance in certified funds  or wire transfer within three days. Thank you for looking and good luck bidding.
