1963 Triumph TR 3 Standard

Beautiful 1963 TR3B…the final year of the TR3 series. Black with black interior. This TR3 had a frame-off restoration in 1991 - a color change was done at that time from red to black (beautiful base coat clear paint). The exterior paint is 99% perfect with just a small rock chip in front. Side curtains (sliding windows) are included, with wind deflectors and tonneau cover. The black soft top is like new. A car cover with embroidered Union Jack is included.The in-line 4-cylinder engine (#TS53487-E) has dual SU carburetors and a 4-speed synchromesh manual gearbox. This TR3 just went through a complete tuneup and was serviced bumper to bumper. A new battery was installed. All gauges function well with the exception of the fuel gauge. A new sending unit has been installed in the fuel tank. A new internal spring is needed for the emergency brake handle. With those exceptions, everything works as it should. The odometer was rolled back to zero at the time of restoration.British Minilite-style knock-off wheels are currently on the car, and the set of original wire wheels is included. The original wire wheel spare is held in place with a leather tie down strap. Next to the spare is the tool kit roll with jack and hammer for the knock-off wheels. Front disc brakes.This TR3B has been garage-stored with a 1962 Austin Healey 3000 Mark II for the last ten years….it drives like new and has many adventures still ahead.
Edited 7/7/2021 to add photo of Heritage Certificate.  Just received the "birth certificate" from the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust.  This Heritage Certificate shows the car's production date, export date to the U.S. and other information.
