My daily driver! Okay, my weekly driver. And only on sunny days - top down - on country roads - about 10 miles each way. Always parked indoors, spending the last 15 MN winters in a cozy aircraft hangar. This near-stock TR4A starts right up, even when stone cold. Synchros are all good and she rides smooth as cream. New tires on nice wire wheels. Pretty much stock everything, except the very cool steering wheel which matches the wood dash (really nice deep rich wood) and electronic ignition. Everything works. Yup, I said it. Lights, signals, heater, wipers, gauges, latches. Okay, the horn has a sketchy ground but I can fix that. Compression is good. Oil pressure is good. Charging is good (new battery - negative ground). The convertible top has a couple tears at each corner and there is a tonneau cover and full car cover included. I (long-retired British car mechanic) recently went through the Stromberg carbs and replaced a couple cracked seals and gaskets (the carbs throttle shafts were recently bored and bushed so the linkage fits snug), adjusted the valves, replaced all the hoses and all the fluids (coolant, engine, tranny, differential). Brand new clutch and brake master cylinders (I have originals that are in good shape for honing/re-sealing if you want a car that is original-original). I also replaced the clutch slave. Hmmmm. What else? New rubber seals/stops on the boot and bonnet. New brakes all round (less than 200 miles on them). Newer stainless steel exhaust from the manifold back as well as newer front suspension (springs, shocks, joints) and steering joint. There are a few seams that have let go on the seats - less that 2 inches long each (I don't sew) and the rubber around the windscreen looks original (hard). The windshield has a small rock chip and some wiper scratches. There is the usual amount of surface rust underneath. A couple spots have been patched and a couple more could use patching eventually. Near-new carpet kit. Box of spare bulbs and seals and bits. Clean title in hand. Would like to sell before the snow flies here in Minnesota, otherwise will keep and sell in the summer. She's a peach!
