  • Title: 1977 Oldsmobile Omega 2 door coupe AZ car 86,000 mikes, V8 drives excellent cln
  • Condition: Car was purchased by me from the original owner. Runs strong, drives excellent and stops great. 307 CID V8 is strong and responsive. Motor is all original, numbers matching. I have all the maintenance records and receipts from the original owner. The car was maintained by the local Napa shop in Overgard AZ. The Mechanics who have worked on it seem to have taken great care to keep things stock and original. All wires, brackets, and looms are correct and undamaged. The car has dual exhaust with big, cool tailpipes. Transmission is strong and was just serviced by Phil's transmission in Mesa. Front end and brakes were inspected and new front wheel bearings were installed by me. Brakes are excellent. Car stops on a dime and leaves you change. No noise, clunks, or vibration in the drivetrain. Car drives straight down the road and is a very good driver. Interior has been redone with newly upholstered seats, carpet and headliner. 1 small crack on top and middle of dash. It has a dashmat.

    Description

A couple of the plastic moldings around the headliner are a little dry and brittle but are easily changed and widely available. They were painted and look decent. All lights, signals and gauges function as they should. There was an under dash stereo that was removed. The rear speaker wires are routed under the carpet and stubbed up as to acomodate a stereo should the new owner install one. The original radio is in place just not hooked up. Body is in excellent condition, zero rust, always lived in AZ. Bumpers, grill and chrome all very good. New vinyl top by Agostino. 1st repaint in the light blue GM color of that time. There was confusion at the paint shop and instead of the original gray it ended up the GM Light Blue, a much more attractive color. The car has never been wrecked or in an accident. Very little filler, there was only typical shopping cart dings and very few of those. The original rally wheels were dismantled, cleaned and repainted the same color as the car. All the beauty rings and center caps are present and in good condition. The wheels are nice and the tires are good. The car has air shocks in the rear that work well. The 1st repaint of this car turned out very nice. The paint job was 00 so it is nice but not perfect. It shines but minor imperfections can be seen if you look hard enough. All in all a very nice car that drives well and pulls strong. Looks good and I get a lot of thumbs up and lookers. Vintage car that is affordable, practical nd can be a daily driver or grocery getter. Oh, it has A/C that is retrofitted to R34. The AC is complete but is not blowing cold. Likely needs refrigerant or has a leak. All A/c components appear to be in good condition. I have that out of pocket invested and does not include my time invested, so I hope to get a little more for my time. the winner of this auction will not be disappointed. I know a reasonable and reputable transporter so delivery will be easy or buy it and come drive it home. THX for biding.
