2014 Chevrolet Impala Unmarked Police Cruiser. Condition is "Used" If you are looking for a police vehicle, this is one that you can confidently purchase. Just passed New York State inspection. Ready for carefree reliable use. There are no surprises and it needs nothing. Tires are hardly worn- see photo of Left Front tire. Purchased new in Philadelphia by me when I was looking to replace my 2006 Police Impala. It's my third police car and it has been an absolute gem. No problems ever. From my past experience, the cars purchased from used police car dealers required several weeks and extra expense to solve hidden problems. This car was never abused or driven hard; more like it was pampered. The car was not driven in the snow. It was always stored in a heated garage, and seldom used. It definitely spent more time indoors than outside so there is no sun damage: even the wiper blades are original and still work. Original tires and original unused full sized spare and cover. Car was dealer maintained. Brake fluid was changed every 2 years. All service records were retained. As an example of how fastidious I am about my car: I just had a Chevrolet dealer replace the windshield with genuine GM glass because there was very slight pitting- to the eye, the glass looked perfect, but a magnifying glass revealed the very fine damage that made visibility difficult when driving towards the rising or setting sun. Upholstery is like new- the inconsistencies seen on the front seat are from the fabric nap- I should have smoothed cloth in one direction before photographing. Vinyl seats in the rear as is typical for the patrol car. Small locking cubby box was installed using existing screw holes and can be removed, restoring interior to original condition. The car was originally intended to have the Philadelphia Police Logo applied to the doors, so it came without body side moldings. The Genuine GM parts body side moldings were affixed to the car and may be removed if you prefer. No holes were drilled into the doors to mount the strips. Rear window buttons and rear door handles were reactivated by dealership at time of purchase. Stealth Interior lights: they do not automatically come on when doors are opened. Car appears in new condition and only has very minor signs of use. The black spots seen in the photograph are some road dirt, there are no obvious scratches or dents. 2 years ago, the Passenger door and front quarter panel were backed into by a truck. The panels were properly repaired and painted by a Long Island high end shop that did Mercedes dealer bodywork. Original rubber rugs were always protected by Chevrolet accessory rubber mats, so rubber rugs are in new condition. A professional detailing could make the car look new all over. Car is located in New York City for pickup. The car is still very much loved, and I don't mind keeping it. I've been thinking that I want a smaller car to take up less space in the garage and be easier to drive, so if the offer is right, the car is yours. Price was based on NADA. Car will be used occasionally until sold so mileage may slightly increase. I am happy to answer any questions.
