Anoectochilus chapaensis - Golden Jewel Orchid
Commonly referred to as the Golden Jewel Orchid, it's easy to see why. The velvet leaves each have unique golden lightning strikes throughout the maroon coloring. Native to parts of southern-southeastern China and North Vietnam, these naturally grow underneath the dense tree canopy, thriving on consistent moisture.
When grown in the home, provide them with somewhat bright light (ours are grown in 600-900 foot candles) and water when the moss is dry to the touch. We have found the best growing media to be 100% long fiber sphagnum moss, not an orchid bark mix.
Plants will be shipped without a pot, so they will need planted shortly after arriving.
