Vintage Art Deco Peacock Folding Fan Brass Fireplace Screen Griffin Gargoyle.
This screen is in very good condition except for some tarnish and some base rust which is hidden when viewed from the front ant back. Please see pictures. Two side clips keep the screen in the closed position. It takes a little pulling and wiggling to fully extend. Not a big deal, just wanted to mention it. Especially beautiful in the sunlight, so I can imagine how beautifully it reflects firelight as well.
37.5" wide.
24.5” tall with finial, 21.5 without. Blades are almost 6.5” wide each. Over 9 pounds unpackaged.
The finial screws off, which is most likely how it will come shipped to reduce size.
