Antique Boat Scoop from Smith Island Va. From the estate of R.B. Andrews, who served in the United States Life Saving Service on Smith Island, Va and was a duck decoy carver as well.
Hand carved wooden boat scoop used to scoop water out of boat.
Measures 16 long and 5 1/4 inches at widest point.
Condition is very worn and chipped.
I have several pieces from Smith Island and several from Mockhorn Island.
