Antique Cahill Hammered Metal Arts & Crafts 4 Panel Folding Fireplace Screen

Description

This is an original antique (1920s) four panel arts & crafts style hammered metal fireplace screen with the original manufacturer's tag attached (Cahill). The entire frame has an aged gold and black finish that is mostly intact but shows some wear, especially along the bottom, and some areas of surface rust. The original heavy steel mesh screen is intact in all four panels, and there are two hinged handles on the top.
Condition is excellent. Nothing is broken or missing and the entire piece is sturdy, solid, and fully functional. There are a few dings and very slight bends in the metal frame, but no major damage. The screen is secure along all edges with no loose spots or holes anywhere. The four panels fold up flat for easy storage and shipping.
Total length is 49 1/2" x 30 1/2" H, not including the handles. Each of the four panels measures 12" W. This item will be packed securely and fully insured during shipping.
