Description

Antique MERRIMAN BROS Bronze Tiller Yoke  with Rudder Post Head,  Deck Plate,  and 51" Wooden Tiller.
Tiller Yoke total measures 9" by 2-1/2" . Yoke measures  6" long by ( at interior dimensions ) 1-3/4" at yoke base and  2-1/4" at yoke ends.
Rudder head will take 1-1/4" rudder post shaft. Rudder post deck plate is custom made for original boat. Plate measures 4" by 5" .
Rudder post shaft hole at about 51 degrees from base. Total weight of deck plate is about 1-1/2 pounds.
Wooden tiller is about 51" long with graceful curve and measures 2-1/8" by 2" at widest point of yoke and tappers to 1-1/4" round ai narrowest  with a 1-3/4" tiller end. Removed from 30' wooden sloop FIDELIA built at DERECKTOR shipyard in New York in 1954.
Total weight of tiller, yoke, and post is about 6 pounds.
