    Description

    Here's an old Ash or Coal Shovel that dates to the 1920's or so and made by Arctic.  Measures 16" long.  Sheet metal shovel head has been refinished with high-temp black paint. Ornate cast iron handle shaft that was nickel-plated.  Coil spring handle to insulate from the heat.  Great visual appeal and very usable around your hearth.
