    Description

    Maritime ASHCROFT Brass ShipsRevolution Counter c.1900. Recently rediscovered had been in box since 1973. All original steam-age ship's revolutioncounter by The Ashcroft Mfg. Co of New York. The large brass case has original patina and features a bronze type handle which manually rotates the six trippednumber counter in the center of the dial. The condition is good + and themechanism still works and/or rotates. Case: 9 5/8 diameter top x 4"deep, bottom/base is 10.5 ' in diameter. The top bezel opens and exposes the counter mechanism. There is a lock. However, no key is available. No scratches or external damage. The counter is is working order.
