Salvaged from the wreck of the CSS Nashville Confederate Navy Warship, Blockade Runner and Privateer destroyed by enemy fire. 28 February 1863 near the Georgia coast.
NOTES: These pieces of coal discovered on the wreck were used to power the ships massive side wheel, a technological maritime marvel, that would generate steam which powered the ships movement making her one of the deadliest ships of the age.
This artifact comes in a quality display case.
