    Description

    "The Beach" is hand painted in meticulous detail showing the seaside/shoreline point setting of a lighthouse village with boardwalk, cafes, shops, arcade, "Captain's Terrace", light house, boat rentals, fisherman on the wharf, a tall ship & other boats in the harbor, swimmers enjoying the beach, townsfolk bustling about, children frolicking, and more. Surrounding this beach scene is an operating
    Z SCALE LAYOUT that is AZL, Micro-Trains, and Marklin rolling stock compatible. The added layout portion includes a installed track, tunnel (removable for track access - attached with Velcro), bridges, buildings, figures, vehicles, palm and other trees. Operates using either a standard Z scale
    transformer (not supplied) or a 9 volt battery (not supplied). When using 9 volt battery power, has separate train speed control and train direction on/off/on switch for convenience and portability. Red/Brown plug-in connections and supplied connection wires make using a transformer simple. The beach scene and surrounding operating train layout are set in a handsome wooden frame.
