Hot Spots are big city night clubs where glamorous people gather to dine, dance, drink champagne and sometimes hide out from the police.
HOT SPOT was a very popular 20th Century Fox film noir drama with mystery and romance intertwined in New York City when a beautiful young singer is murdered and the wrong man is a suspect. BETTY GRABLE plays Jill, a stenographer who is overshadowed by her glamorous sister Vicky but is devastated when her sister is killed. Victor Mature plays Frankie, a big city promoter who was helping Vicky with her singing career and is murder suspect # 1. Together Jill and Frankie set out to find the real killer and take in some posh Hot Spots plus an all-night movie theater and a splashy co-ed open-all-night public swimming plunge.
This stunning HOT SPOT print measures 9x13 and is mounted on an 11x14 backing. It is in good, clean condition. The quality is very very good with bright colors. IMPORTANT: I am selling this item as is. I mounted it on white mounting board before I framed it. It is not in the frame now but can be very attractive if you re-frame it..or just lean it as It is lightweight. IMPORTANT: There is a little crease on the front upper right . not that noticeable.
