Description
This is a new, one of a kind, hand sewn Plains rifle case that measures 54" in length. The butt end is 7" or 14" around and the barrel end is 4" in width. This case is made from a thick trade wool trade blanket, white with multi color stripes. Both ends are finished with beaded white fringe. The stock end has a part of a tanned raccoon strip that is sewn round the case. It has a 2 1/2" silver concho on the midsection. The front or barrel end has a strip of tanned raccoon fur and wool strips hanging off the front. This case is unlined and is not be suitable for a scoped rifle. This will fit black powder rifles, lever action and single shot rifles or shotguns. Three black tassels are attached at the front, middle and barrel end. The stock end has a tie of the same color. If case is to long simply fold the stock portion up and use the tie to secure to the stock. This case will look good on any rifle at shoots, rendezvous or just hanging on the wall.
