Bob Meisner 1950's Game Used H&B 125 Baseball Bat Richmond Vancouver Nashville

This Louisville Slugger 125 pro model bat dates specifically to the 1950's as evidenced by the length of the REG U S PAT OFF marking below the center label. In 1961 the length of the phrase was shortened.  It has model R43 stamped into the knob. It was game used by Bob Meisner who played with the following teams: Edmonton Quincy Birmingham New Orleans Binghamton Richmond Amarillo Nashville and Vancouver. He had an eight year career hitting .263 and was something of a power hitter as he managed to hit 88 home runs during the course of his career. The bat is 34" long, Powerized, has strong burned-in markings and has a minor crack on the back side of the handle that does not show from the front. No wood loss, nice color and finish and the knob is fully intact. Great example of a 70 year old H&B professional model game used bat. Shows nice game use consistent with a left handed hitter - which Mr. Meisner was. All inquiries welcome.
