The Hornwort Plant should be handled with care when planting as the foliage and stems are somewhat brittle. In the wild, the Hornwort Plant is found free-floating in gently_moving and still waters or loosely anchored in muddy bottoms. For the home pond or water garden, the Hornwort Plant can be treated as a floating plant or potted in small aquatic planters or planted directly in gravel on the pond bottom. Once established, the Hornwort Plant grows quickly to provide much needed shade and protection for your pond fish, as well as a potential spawning site for fish. Under ideal conditions, the Cabomba Plant can produce stems 24" in length or longer with numerous side shoots. Cuttings removed from healthy mature plants can be replanted to help manage growth and to propagate new plants. The Hornwort Plant, also known as Coontail, is an attractive aquatic plant popular among freshwater aquarium hobbyists as well as pond keepers and water gardeners thanks to its undemanding care requirements and vigorous growth. The semi_translucent nature of the Hornwort Plants enhances its beautiful vibrant green colorations. In fact, under bright light and in clear water, the Hornwort Plant appears to be enveloped in a gorgeous green glow.

LIVESTOCK
We guarantee live arrival on all of our livestock. In the rare event livestock shows up dead, we must be notified within 24 hours. Keep in mind these plants just took the journey of their lifetime in a dark box for 2-4 days so they will take time to recover and be at their best again. Please Take clear photos of the dead product and send it to us within 24 hours of receiving the item and once the item is validated by us we will send a replacement or refund minus the cost of shipping. Failure to comply with one or more of these policies will mean we can no longer cover you.
If you are concerned about extreme heat or cold, we highly recommend having the post office hold your mail for the estimated delivery day. This is a completely free option which can be requested online via www.usps.com or in person at your local post office. This way, your package will remain indoors, protected, and out of the elements for you to pick up once the package has arrived.
We guarantee live arrival of all live stock. This means we assure that live stock will show up alive. We do not guarantee your success in keeping the livestock alive/healthy. Lots of outside factors that we cannot control go into the success or failure of keeping livestock healthy. We are here to help but are not liable after you have received the livestock alive.
