This is an amazing fireplace mantle . I am not sure of the age but I can tell it is old. It contains such detail throughout. It appears to be all hand carved wood with rams heads and dragons. It is hard to tell but it looks as though they might be double headed dragons with beautiful wings It was salvaged along with a set of matching gates that are very very old. I am not sure where it is from but like the Gates they seem to have been shipped in from somewhere. They were salvaged out of a house up on Mullholand Drive.Such an amazing custom built home lavished with nothing but the best .This fireplace was located in the guest bedroom. The fireplace was mounted to the wall with mounting screws that were filled over with wood putty . There are small holes where the screws had to be removed in order to remove the fireplace. Tried to include all detail in the photos. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs
