Joyo JT-01, small tuner.
The Pencil and Quarter (coin) seen in some of the pictures are not included... these are just to give you an idea of the small size!
Clip-on Tuner, Electronic Digital, for Guitar/Bass, Violin, Ukulele-Uke, Chromatic.
Good for Electric or Acoustic guitar with standard 6-string tuning, Ukulele with either C or D tuning, Bass guitar with standard 4-string tuning, Violin.
Very small and light weight design so that when clipped-on it shouldn't pose much of an added weight burden. Screen is small/compact and easy to use, the digital needle either tilts to the left or to the right if string is sharp of flat, in the middle if in-tune. Also the screen turns green to indicate very clearly that the string is in tune, easy to see!
Works on small battery CR2032 Button Battery which is included, however you should be able to purchase these fairly easily since these are widely used for many common devices, I am not sure how old or new the included battery may be, it works fine now but please make sure you know where to buy these when it becomes necessary sooner or later... You will need to install the battery for the unit to work, full instructions are included in the box.
This device is very simple to use, only one button that powers it on/off when held in for a few seconds, once it is on you toggle between the various instruments listed above by clicking this same button. Very simple to use.
Tiny little screws are included in the box in case you wish to secure the back battery cover in place, (only one screw is necessary for that and the other one is just extra) however, the back cover seems to stay closed without the screw so it may not be necessary, your judgement, better to use screw however to protect small children from taking out the battery...
This tuner must be clipped on the instrument for it to work properly by sensing the vibrations, you can remove it after tuning if you wish. (There are rubber pads on the clip-on ends to protect the wood of your instrument). The unit can pivot 360 degrees on the clip so that you can set it for good viewing angle while tuning.
The unit is colored black and made of plastic exterior with LCD display.
