Description
Con-Cor N Scale 840412 NYC Pacemaker Freight Service Add-On Boxed SetThis auction is for the Con-Cor Pacemaker add-on set shown, purchased in June 2001. It consists of twelve 40' box cars in the Pacemaker scheme, to be added to Con-Cor's basic set which also includes a Hudson and a caboose. Rapido-style couplers are present throughout; replacing them with your favorite knuckle couplers is simple if that's your preference. The box cars are standard Con-Cor models with decent detail (specially en masse). Included in this set are road numbers 174532, 174544, 174584, 174722, 174541, 174571, 174603, 174723, 174542, 174580, 174620, and 174738. These are unique road numbers in addition to those in the basic set (174417, 174452, 174476, 174512, 174528, 174480, 174458, 174423, 174447, 174474, 174506, and 174535). The only thing removed from the box was the single box car (3rd picture) for photography. I've rated this set C-8 because I've seen pictures of the set with all of the cars individually wrapped in plastic. This set didn't come that way so it's C-8... ;-) The box and contents are in new condition throughout and this set's lived its entire life in a smoke-free environment. Attach them to a locomotive and run 'em!
Please note the piece of Kato Unitrak on which the box car is displayed is
NOT
part of this auction and serves only so you can see how the box car sit on the track.
