Description

Playing his 10 year career mostly with the Padres, Dave Roberts was a utility infielder who hit 21 home runs playing for the San Diego Padres in 1973. This game used H&B model U1 dates from 1977-1979 and measures 34 3/4 in and 36.6 oz. Pine tar, rack streaks and 12 on the knob show signs of use from this mushroom knob bat. Roberts never wore the number 12 in the majors, which may make this bat from his minor league days. Also included is a baseball card of Roberts when he was on the Texas Rangers. PSA Letter of Authenticity is included. For those new to the hobby, PSA is an industry-leading bat authentication service. Your bat's serial number can be searched in the PSA online database and your PSA Letter of Authenticity provides further valuable information on the bat. Having the bat authenticated and/or graded increases its value and makes it much easier to sell the bat in the future.
