cool 1968 doll head mold of the head of Margaret Wade, the snootie neighborhood girl with curls and big round glasses in the cartoon and TV Show "Dennis The Menace" who had a crush on Dennis and sometimes made his life a living heck. Margaret would coerce Dennis into taking care of her dolls, etc. She had a crush on him --

In 1968, Dennis the Menace dolls were made and sold, marketed by the brand's manager, Hall Syndicate, Inc.  I found a couple of photos on-line, and have included one in this listing. (See last photo.) My best guess is that the mold in this listing is for the Margaret head shown. Inside of the mold's neck, in raised letters which are backwards, it says "1968 HALL SYNDICATE INC.".  That it's backwards means that if a head were to be made inside of the mold its neck would be marked correctly. If you feel inside of the mold, features are distinct. The outside of the mold isn't the "finished" side. Rubber heads were made inside of these molds, and then extracted.
The mold stands approximately 5" high. I've attached a photo showing it next to a 12-ounce can of soda, for scale. (Note: In this listing, the soda can and the Margaret finished doll are not included with the sale of the mold.) I don't know what kind of metal it's made of: It does not attract a magnet, and so it's apparently neither iron nor steel. Maybe bronze? I don't know.
