    Description

    Emmett Kelly is a 30” Ventriloquist Doll. Dressed like a Hobo this is a v
    intage, rare, collectible piece of American history. Kelly was p
    roduced by the Juro Novelty Company (Juro existed 1955-1977). The back of his neck & hairline reads: Emmet Kelly Trade Mark Juro Novelty Co. Inc. He is in great shape
    considering his age.
    The string still works and can be pulled to move his mouth up & down. Head & hands are plastic, everything else is cloth. Emmett Kelly was the most well-known of the tramp clowns and is famous for his sad face. He was also recognized for helping put out the Hartford circus fire, which was one of the worst fire disasters in US history.  This doll would be wonderful for a beginning ventriloquist, for a collector of clowns, or an Emmett Kelly fan!  We took the time to clean his clothes and add shoes to his feet.
