    Fireback Thomas Elsley Rare Antique Colonial Williamsburg Lion Unicorn Coat Arms.
    Cast iron fireback originally by Thomas Elsley. It sat in the governors mansion in colonial Williamsburg. Faithfully recreated by the Colonial Williamsburg Iron Company. This fantastic fireback features the royal coat of arms of King Charles I of England. The infamous lion and unicorn take up either side.
    Measurements are: 24” at top of the crest; 21.75” wide; .75” thick; 19.75” from bottom of fireback to each side before the half moon arch. It weighs just under 50lbs. Wear consistent with age and use.
    It can be picked up in Boston, MA at no charge. Shipping will be another matter as it’s large and heavy. I’ve priced shipping at 0. I’ll refund up to of that cost if not used for shipping, materials, time, and labor.
