    Description

"Grab your straw hat! It's warm in July!"
The exact date is "July 1, 1930",
    and we're
    going Wrigley Field in Chicago
to watch the Chicago Cubs play the NY Giants!!
    GAME-USED
National League baseball that was hit foul by a NY Giants player.
Hand-written by the fan who caught the foul ball:
"Foul Ball Hit By N.Y. giants. Wrigley Field, Chicago on July 1, 1930.
    "N.Y. 7."
    Cubs 5."
There is a name(?) below the "July 1, 1930" ... I can't make it out. You can
    google
the date where you can find the most information, box score etc...
    The ball is so old
    (just celebrated 91 years!)
, the patina is wonderful, but there are scratches on the patina of the baseball.
Please look at the pictures, they tell the best story.
The stitching is solid with awesome
    RED
    and
    BLUE
    color.
It's dated and ultra-rare. It was pitched from the mound and hit from home plate, the same place Babe Ruth's "called shot" would be 2 years later.
    The photos are from 1932
    at Wrigley Field.
They give a nice feel of the HOT & HEAVY WOOL uniforms that were worn back in that era and the feel of the game back in those days.
Copies of those 1930 era pictures are included (2).
Own this great piece of baseball history that takes you back to
    "when it was a game!"
