(Not Leather-This one is Nylon)
With Armor Protection

3M Reflective Piping
(shines brightly when light hits it at night so a driver's headlights make you a lot more visible!
It even that when I used the flash on my camera to take the pics!

This a TRULY A GREAT FIND!
Anyone who has been riding a long time,
knows these old mid-weight armored jackets,
and all the
SAFETY
FEATURES built into them!
These were of the highest quality materials and made to exacting standards!

This is a vintage Harley Jacket but you would NEVER know it!
It was seldom worn (I had a HUGE collection) so it still presents wonderfully
and you will be very proud to wear it!
I see no flaws to speak of but like always
I ask that you take a good look at all the pics and judge for yourself,
as you should when buying ANY
vintage
clothing item.
It isn't "brand new from the factory" so a good inspection is always critical.
Here's the deal, and how it came to be!
Years ago, I was (and still am!) the luckiest guy in the world!
I found the PERFECT WIFE!
She loved me and all the things I love!
And that included RIDING!!
We rode our Harley Ultra-Glide EVERYWHERE together!!
Whenever we crossed into another state on a road trip, we would buy a new jacket!
Yes, I know!
Most riders buy a T-Shirt. (And sometimes we did!)
But my wife loved leather, so every time we found a new town with a Harley shop,
another jacket was added to her collection!!
(And I admit, sometimes I even bought one for myself!)
Sadly,
Due to advancing years and health issues,
our riding days are behind us, for good.
So we have picked our a couple of jackets as keepsakes to remember those awesome road trips!
BUT...
The VAST majority of our collections is going to be listed for sale here!!
MOST of these jackets look almost new!
MANY were NEVER worn more than one time!!!
SOME were indeed worn more,
(like THIS one!)
and if so we will be sure to point that out in the listing.
I DO ASK, RESPECTFULLY,
that you consider the pics to be our

of condition.
We feel the old saying,
"One picture is worth a thousand words"
IS ABSOLUTELY TRUE!!

AS TO FIT:
There is a good "RULE OF THUMB" that applies to MEN'S Harley jackets!
I wear a Size Large (L) Harley Jacket.
I am 6 feet tall, about 185 pounds, with a 34 inch sleeve in shirts and a size 34 jeans,
and a Size Large in Harley Jackets fits me perfectly EVERY  time!
BUT THIS IS NOT A STANDARD HARLEY LEATHER JACKET.
It's Nylon Construction with Armor
(MUCH MUCH LIGHTER than a cowhide Harley Jacket!)
SO,
Because I wanted to be able to wear just the jacket in warm weather,
and maybe "Layer-Up" in frigid temps
(I rode Winter, Spring Summer and Fall, like James Taylor sang)
I went with this one....
a Men's Size Extra Large
And let me tell you,
It was a GREAT feeling to know I had that extra Armor to protect me!
To be clear.....in case you're wondering
Why did I buy it if I wear a Size Large?
Because we were doing some VERY COLD Winter Riding!
I needed an Extra Large,
so I could layer a couple of sweaters and a hooded sweatshirt under my jacket,
And THIS was big enough to
accommodate
those extra layers of warmth!
(I told you, we did a LOT of riding!!)
ANYWAY!
This is an
exception
to what I will be offering....
almost every one of my Men's jackets I will be listing will be a Harley Size Large
OR
if it was my wife's, a Women's Size Extra Large
THIS ONE IS A MEN'S SIZE XL....
BETTER SUITED TO A GUY WHO TYPICALLY WEARS AN EXTRA LARGE!
Unless you're gonna layer up like me,
OR,
just pull in the velcro adjustments to make it tighter all around,
which steps it down closer to what a typical "Large" would be!
(My point is, you CAN get away with it as a Large even if you NEVER Layer your clothes)
