These embroidered sweaters have
never
been sold to the public — never.
The
only
way to get one was to attend HDU, Harley-Davidson University . . . the official training for Harley-Davidson dealers.
Only Dealers, or their General Managers, were permitted at HDU. (They don't have HDU anymore - now they train online.)
This is one of the rarest pieces of genuine H-D clothing ever, and has never been sold in dealerships or to the public. They stopped making these when HDU ended, over a decade ago. This sweater is from HDU 2000.
This sweater is brand new, made in the USA, cotton, black, medium. With tags, never worn. It has been sitting in a drawer for a very long time, so it needs to be shook/brushed/cleaned or whatever you do to a cotton sweater - I do not want to compromise the "newness" of the sweater, so I leave the cleaning to the purchaser.
