Description
Jesus Alou is a member of the famous baseball dynasty family and a two-time World Series champion with the Oakland A's in 1973 and 1974. Alou also spent time with Houston, San Francisco and the Mets during his 15-year career. This game used H&B model C276 dates from 1977-79 and appears to have Alou's No. 22 overwritten with the No. 52. It is possible Alou wore this number while playing winter ball. The bat is uncracked with heavy barrel checking and a think, 2-inch piece missing from the barrel. PSA Letter of Authenticity is included. For those new to the hobby, PSA is an industry-leading bat authentication service. Your bat's serial number can be searched in the PSA online database and your PSA Letter of Authenticity provides further valuable information on the bat. Having the bat authenticated and/or graded increases its value and makes it much easier to sell the bat in the future.
