John Franco Game Used  Bat
1998 Louisville Slugger model R161 uncracked game used JOHN FRANCO bat. The bat shows moderate to heavy use, most attributed to batting practice as Franco only had 2 plate appearances. Franco did use this bat for both his appearances. The handle as heavy tape/pine tar. There is remnants of tape on the barrel which was most likely there to prevent flaking on the rear of the barrel. Franco's #31 is written on the knob. The bat was obtained directly from Franco at the end of the '98 season.
This bat is part of an immense collection of a 30 year MLB employee. Items was obtained/signed at Yankee Stadium and Shea Stadium. Guaranteed to pass any 3rd party authentication.
