Description

Very heavy large old vintage antique andiron set for your fireplace hearth. These heat up and put off warmth in addition to the flames. This is a used set with a charming and authentic patina from decades of use. They each have a lion face with rings in their jaws and each one holding round spheres in their paws. They measure 22” high, 10” wide and are 9” deep. High quality brass and solid and weighty. Please see photos for further idea of condition and appearance. No damage or structural issues and not beat up. They could probably be restored to a new bright brass if desired, but are certainly charming as shown.
