Live aquarium floating plants starter pack -- azolla, salvinia, duckweed mix

Description

In this pack you will receive a mix of
salvinia minima
(water spangles),
azolla
(fairy moss) and two kinds of
duckweed
(lemna minor and major).
These are hardy, low-tech, easy-to-grow plants, perfect for betta bowls, shrimp tanks and nano aquariums.
The second image shown is the approximate amount you will receive.
This is a
starter culture
!  It is a small amount but a good variety for a very low price.  These little plants will generally begin to grow and multiply within days and you will have more than you know what to do with in no time.
*PLEASE NOTE: some azolla may be RED when it arrives.  It is not dead or dying, it was just growing under high light!  It will adjust itself to your own growing conditions in a matter of days to weeks.
Packaging/Shipping
Your plants will be
wrapped in a wet paper towel
and
placed in a ziplock bag
to keep them hydrated during shipping, then
packed in a padded envelope
.  Plants are
shipped First Class
and should arrive to you in 2-5 days. This allows me to keep costs low enough to offer you free shipping, while still providing enough protection to keep your plants in good condition (I have shipped hundreds of plant packages using this method with a very high rate of success!).
I ship Mondays and Tuesdays
to ensure that plants don't sit over the weekend in the post office, so if you order after Tuesday I may wait until the following Monday to ship out your order just to be safe (though I may ship on Wednesday if you are on the East coast closer to me, or if you specifically request that your order go out right away).
IF IT IS TOO HOT OR TOO COLD IN YOUR LOCATION, OR IF YOU WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE TO PICK UP YOUR PLANTS AS SOON AS THEY ARE DELIVERED PLEASE WAIT FOR BETTER WEATHER TO ORDER FROM ME!
I do not have heat packs available at this time and I am not responsible for plants that have died because they sat in a hot or cold mailbox.

Note: Sometimes plants may turn yellow or lose roots during shipping. This is normal! Most plants will bounce back within a few days and will begin to multiply and populate your tank right away.

You may find snails or snail eggs (bladder, ramshorn and/or Malaisian trumpet snails).   I happen to like my snails!  They help keep my tanks clean and are entertaining to watch.  If snails are a problem for you, you may not want to order from me.
