If you are looking to culture your own Phytoplankton, this kit will allow you to start your first culture of Nannochloropsis Phytoplankton. We recommend starting with a simple 16 oz water bottle (sanitized), freshly mixed saltwater SG 1.016-1.020, and a basic LED or CFL light. Add an air pump, air line + 16 hours of light and within 6-10 days, you'll have a fully cultured bottle of Phytoplankton. You can use this to culture additional Phytoplankton bottles, or simply use it to feed your reef tank.
