Muzzle-Loaders Breech Plug Multi-Tool - 3-in-1 Muzzleloader Breech Tool - MZ1212
The Muzzle-Loaders™ Multi-Tool is the ultimate muzzleloader breech plug tool. The tool features a 209 capper/decapper and breech plug wrench on one end as well as a firing pin screwdriver on the other. With this tool in your possibles bag, you will always be able to work on your muzzleloader breech plug and firing pin. The Breech Plug Multi-Tool is constructed of a strong carbon steel construction ensuring the tool will hold up to many uses and will not bend when extra effort is required to remove a stuck breech plug. Our Multi-Tool has been designed by our Muzzle-Loaders™ team which has years of hands-on experience when it comes to muzzleloader hunting and shooting. This experience has been utilized to craft a tool designed by hunters and shooters for use at the range and in the field, for hunters and shooters. The Muzzle-Loaders™ Multi-Tool is sure to get the job done when it matters most. HOW TO USE: Capper/Decapper 1. To load breech plug, place a 209 primer in the large u-shaped end above the wrench section of the tool. 2. Align primer with breech plug primer pocket and push primer into the primer pocket. 3. Slide the capper tool out from under the primer and gently push on the primer with your thumb to ensure proper seating. 4. To remove a spent 209 primer use the same u-shaped end and slide the tool under the lip of the primer. 5. Pull tool straight up and away from the primer to remove the spent 209 primer from the breech plug. Breech Plug Wrench 1. Using the curved wrench opposite the firing pin screwdriver, place the wrench on the outside of the breech plug using the wrench tab to engage one of the holes or slots on the plug. 2. Rotate wrench counterclockwise to loosen and remove the breech plug or clockwise to seat and install a new breech plug. Firing Pin Screwdriver 1. Using the screwdriver end that has the smaller slot cutout, insert driver end into the firing pin bushing slot. 2. Rotate screwdriver counterclockwise to remove the firing pin bushing or clockwise to install the firing pin bushing. NOTE: Be sure to watch for the firing pin spring when removing a firing pin.
