So many customers wanted our figureheads in custom colors, we thought why not offer and unpainted version. These are great for artisans wanting to create their own masterpiece. This piece is all primed and ready for painting. Primer coat will accept both interior and exterior paints and stains. The figurehead is made of polyurethane molding foam. They are rigid, but lightweight, same as our painted line.

Our figureheads are meant for interior decoration, although some people have applied an outdoor varnish and have hung them from a exterior wall or dock post for the boating season. We recommend winterizing the figureheads during the inclement season to extend the life. They are not durable enough to live on the front of a boat.
