Old Coin Singapore Merchant Token (SMT) Negeri Trumon (Very Rare)

Description

Coin series of Singapore Merchant Token "Negeri Trumon/Tarumon" year 1247H/1831.
The country of TARUMON/TRUMON is located in Singkil, South Aceh Region. This kingdom was founded in 1780 by Tengku Jakfar.
In 1812 Trumon recognized as a vassal state of the kingdom of Aceh Darussalam.
"Negeri Tarumon/Trumon" coins are rare coins for the Singapore Merchant Token coin series and have a nominal value of 2 Keping. This coin was used by some Singapore Merchants for trading in the Trumon area.
This coin weighs 3.4 grams, has a diameter of 22mm and a thickness of about 1mm. For the level of quality of this coin, please directly see the photo
