This auction is for a matched PAIR of LARGE DHR GIMBALED SHIPS BRASS LAMPS, in the almost never seen FACTORY ELECTRIC style.  Made in Holland by the one of the most respected nautical lamp makers in the world.  They are an absolutely STUNNING SET.
They show light signs of having been aboard a large yacht, and retain most of the handsome 'instrument finish' over the brass.
The lamps are DHR's large size, standing 9 1/4" inches tall and will project about 8 1/4" from the wall or bulkhead.   With bulbs in place they will stand an IMPRESSIVE 12 1/2" tall.  The lamps illuminate with the turn of the inline cord switches. They are EXTREMELY heavy and heavily made, with the highest Old World quality fit and finish.
