PAIR MID 19TH C BRASS PORTABLE SMALL FIRE DOGS, ENGLISH?, NICE CONDITION

Description

This pair of fire dogs/log or wood holders for a fire place, are small and easily portable but able to do the job of working to perch a branch or log on them.  They are in very good condition considering the age, the knobs having some light distortion as you see in photos.  The bases have lead for weighting them down less liable to tip.  The measurements are 7 5/6" H x 6 5/8" W at base and top.  Each weighs approx 3 pounds.  Check out my OTHER ITEMS/SELLER STORE.
