    A High Quality Long Gun Case
    Welded Aluminum Construction - Locking Spring Latches - Continuous Gear Hinged
    The inside measurements are 38" long, 9-7/8" wide and 4" deep (2" each half).
    It's constructed of 0.080" aluminum and has welded seams, not riveted.
    The latches are the spring-tensioned type. Besides always keeping the case securely closed under spring tension, this style latch allows you to add weather stripping to the 1/2"  wide flat inside edge if desired.
    The hinge is a continuous gear arrangement and not less expensive piano hinge that's riveted or otherwise attached to the case.
    There are several pieces of eggcrate foam placed inside.  The foam is in good condition.  You might add your own foam to the other side or custom cut your own pieces to fit whatever you might store in the case.
