    Description

    RARE!  1860's - 1880's Town Hall Flat Barreled Baseball Bat.  Bat is 32" in length and weighs 26oz.  Barrel is considerable flatter than the those bats that would appear later in the 19th Century.
    Bat shows heavy use with deadwood, cracking, and some wood loss mostly in the barrel area.   No manufacturer markings or stampings are visible.
    Very nice early baseball bat and in good shape for its age.
