RARE Antique Composition Doll/Figurine Sandy Dog - Little Orphan Annie 1936

Original condition, hard-to-find, fragile but lovely! Little Orphan Annie’s dog, Sandy, was produced in 1936 by Ralph A. Freundlich who at that time was operating out of Clinton, Massachusetts and best known for composition novelty dolls. Freundlich's dolls are unmarked as is the case with this Sandy.
Sandy, 6.75” tall, is a one-piece composition figure with original factory paint. There are paint cracks over all of the body, some lifting, and a few small areas of paint loss. See photos for condition. No repairs have ever been attempted. It has been in one family and always in a smoke-free environment. Annie is long gone but her faithful dog lives on!
