RARE Greenwood China S. S. Admiral Sampson Demitasse Cup & Saucer. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. This Demitasse Cup & Saucer was made by the Greenwood China Co. in Trenton N. J. In the early 1900’s. The S. S. Admiral Sampson was launched in 1898 and sunk in a collision at Pugat Sound in 1914. Used by American Mail and United Fruit Co. this piece bears the United Fruit Logo. The cup shows some wear at the lip, the saucer is very good, however both pieces are quite rare to obtain finding them in this condition.
