    Description

    Offered here is a Kratt Master Key chromatic pitch pipe in excellent used condition. This item is manufactured with the notation “PAT APP”, which makes it pre May 19, 1931 when patent number 1,538336 was issued. Also interestingly, there are no engraved markings on the plastic disc, which was a feature in the patent, so this may be an even earlier prototype.
    The condition is amazingly good considering its age. The chrome is bright with just two small spots of blistering as seen in the photos. The pipe works and sounds great.
