DESCRIPTION:
This is an opportunity to purchase an authentic game-used bat of former major league outfielder and Hall of Famer ROBERTO CLEMENTE.  Bat is an H&B Louisville Slugger.  Model number is U1.  Bat has number 21 on knob, has heavy use and is uncracked.
PROVENANCE:
I obtained this bat circa 1972 via a trade with one of my best friends.  We were both avid collectors of autographs and memorabilia. He obtained this bat after a game in 1969 at Crosley Field from the visiting team batboy.  My friend was ahead of his time.  His father took him to a lot of Reds games and in addition to collecting autographs, he also collected bats.  He got his father to pay money to the batboy for the bats. He had quite a few at one time.  I was actually there the day he got this bat and remember the batboy wheeling this bat plus others thru the tunnel, before handing the bat to my friend.  Guaranteed to pass PSA or any other authenticating company.
