    Description

This Louisville Slugger bat model K55 was used by Los Angeles Dodgers star thirdbaseman, Ron Cey during the 1977 All-Star game played at Yankee Stadium.  Ron was selected to start at 3B for the National League team (ahead of Pete Rose and Mike Schmidt who were the 3B reserves for the National League).  This was Ron's fourth All-Star game appearance.
The bat is uncracked and exhibits good use with numerous ball seam imprint marks on the left side of the barrel.  "K55" is stamped on the knob end.  The bat measures 34.5" and weighs 31.5 oz.
Ron has signed the bat on the barrel in black sharpie.  I obtained this signature in person.
Ron had a blistering start to the 1977 season, batting .425 with 9 homers and a MLB record 29 r.b.i.'s for the month of April.  He ended up with his highest vote total for National League M.V.P. at the end of the season (finishing 8th) as he hit a career high 30 home runs and had 110 r.b.i.'s.
A letter of authenticity from California Sports Investments will accompany this bat.
